Just think of it what would happen if they release a not fully done product, some parts will work, some not. So this is NOT Symantec's fault, that you bought a 1-day old OS what has many issues with the "old" products, which has to be updated first to be compatible. Apple didn't do the same, you can see the outcome. This way software developers will have time to fix all errors on the new OS. The same happend with Windows 7 too! Well, in this case Microsoft had a great advantage, they only released the RTM product to the software developers, and a little later will the OS available to the public. And because of these by every build every program has to be checked and rewritten as some parts of the OS has changed what can cause errors in the program. Symantec does not lie! If you check how an OS is developed, you can see that between different builds there are a lot of code changes. Oh, and I figure, since Symantec can't take criticism and can only blame others for there downfalls, this post will get removed. So, is short, thell your team to shut-up and get the update.
